Hi Ryan, check to see if MySQL is already on the system by chance.....
rpm -q MySQL , if not do: (in root, and/or su -l into root) 
rpm -ivh MySQL-3.22-1.i386.rpm , also install the
MySQL-client-3.22.21-1.i386.rpm .. if this dosent work try d/ling the
rpm's once more (binary) and try again.
