Are you just trying to show how using "answer" on the subject line is
really useless?
Steve knows is /tmp is full. He wants to know how to make isamchk use
an alternate directory for temp files. Perhaps setting the
environment variable TMPDIR or TEMPDIR or TEMP (there are three
"standard" conventions for this, amazingly). I'd try them in that
order. Running "strings isamchk" might show one or more of these.
