Subject:mysql 5.6.10 won't start
View as plain text
Hi,

I'm running mysql 5.6.10 on Fedora.
when I try and boot mysql I get this:

# /etc/init.d/mysql start
Starting MySQL.The server quit without updating PID file
(/[FAILED]xt/mysql/veritian.pid).

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Paul
