Mebbe they thought the headline would draw eyes to their ads. This edition of MySQL is less like NoSQL, and more determinedly relational, than any before. It'd be more accurate to say that Monty & David anticipated NoSQL by a decade. The early editions of MySQL, with no ACID compliance, no foreign keys, no transactions, were more like NoSQL than any version of MySQL released since 2004. PB >
