seems there is "skip-innodb" in your configuration
what do "show engines;" say?

i would recommend "sql-mode =3D STRICT_ALL_TABLES" in /etc/my.cnf
where ever no dirty applications are running which depends
on the bad standard behavior silently ignore errors
