That is a tad expensive though :) That's true, but again that's not really answering the question which was asked. Plenty of sites use PCI-compliant transmission of data across the Internet, there's no reason why that should be an issue provided it's done correctly. The question here is whether MySQL natively supports the tools necessary to do it correctly, and if so how to implement them. Mark
