I have seen a few previous discussions about getting MySQL to work
properly on the Linux mipsel platform (Specifically on the Cobalt RaQ
devices), and many of the questions regarded ./configure script
failures. I have fixed my .configure problems that I was initially
having, but I am now having a problem with mysqld just dumping core
(segmentation fault) when I run it (3.22.21).
I am not a C or C++ whiz, so I don't really know what I need to do so I
can provide more information to this list so perhaps we can get this
problem fixed (whether it's a system problem or a MySQL bug).
Has anyone seen/fixed this behavior on the MIPS architecture? OR has
anyone else had this problem or know of a way I can provide more
accurate informatinon from the core file it generates? Anything I can
do to help can be done (even access to the box for you to play w/ MySQL
on, if you absolutley need it), since I would really like to get this
working properly on the RaQ machines from Cobalt.
Here is the skinny on the hardware:
MIPS R4000/5000 compatible CPU
256MB RAM
10GB ATA Disk
GCC 2.7.2 (not .3, but that's another problem, GCC won't compile at all)
G++ 2.7.2
glibc 2.0.7 (with the fixed pthreads problems that cause ./configure to
die)
