Good Morning Lucas

From what i've been able to gather

Type 3 is a bridging technology which accomplishes the ODBC-JDBC
communication objective but is
slower than native Type 4 thin client driver counterpart as there are a min
of 3+ components which are used
ODBC
Bridge
JDBC
Best doc I've seen is
http://www.easysoft.com/products/data_access/jdbc_odbc_bridge/manual/introduction.html

I dont know Type=5 but I have seen it used with Microsoft OLEDB provider
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270638
