Hello, i run into a problem when compiling mysql-3.22.27 on my Solaris 7 Sparcstation with gcc 2.8.1 and libstdc++ 2.8.1.1 . After starting "./compile --prefix=/usr/local/mysql" everything runs fine until the script exits with the following messages: "checking for restartable system call... configure error: can not run test program while cross compiling" Can someone tell me how i can set the flag to not cross compile. I only want to compile mysql for my workstation... cu holgi
