I'm curious, you actually have a unix application that uses ODBC that
you need to run on your FreeBSD box?  That would be the only reason
to compile the ODBC stuff on the FreeBSD system...

Anyhow, the release notes indicate that compiling the ODBC drivers
require the MySQL sources to be available.  Perhaps the my_config.h
file can be found there... ;-)
