RE: PHP, Zend, & mod_perl

from my experience, there's no reasons to avoid zend now.
i use it on my workstation without any problems. for production
environments i a bit more wary due to its beta status and to
the fact that all my php machines use php3 and makes very little
sense to test php3 scripts on php4. although they are 99% compatible,
php3 has its quirks and php4 its own too. i guess beign a programmer
myself i understand when someone says "beta" means "it works ok, but
i am testing to see if i fixed all the bugs from the previous version".
i read the zend release will be early next month, so that tells me
they are in great shape.
