Hello -
I'm new to mySQL and fairly new to Linux. Please forgive my ignorance.
What options are available for developing application front ends (using
mySQL as the back end) on Linux? I am only interested in Linux / Unix
products, not Windows -> ODBC -> mySQL setups. I am aware of the following:
1. Web browser / cgi
2. ncurses / C / C++
3. Tcl / Tk or Perl / Tk
4. C / C++ / Xlib
Any others? Pros and cons?
Is there an equivalent of Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, or MS Access available
for Linux?
