Dear all  (I have sent this yesterday but did not see it get posted
so this is a resend)

I have been using mysql on Linux and Solaris for a while.
And not until yesterday was I point out an interesting difference.

On Linux, I only have one instance of mysql running
but I am seeing 3 processes of mysqld.
This is not the same under solaris.

Is Mysql become multi-process and multi-threaded when
it lands on Linux?
