Mysql-4.1.7 Start - Ended error - Solaris 8

Sorry form my english, I am Italian.....

They are successful to install mysql-4.1.7 on o.s. solaris 8 thanks to the suggestions of
Gleb Paharenko.

Now I have this problem:
When start the command "mysqld_safe &" mysql start and ended immediately. In the log
file  I find this error:

"041115 20:43:42  mysqld started
041115 20:43:42  InnoDB: Operating system error number 13 in a file operation.
InnoDB: The error means mysqld does not have the access rights to
InnoDB: the directory.
InnoDB: File name ./ibdata1
InnoDB: File operation call: 'create'.
InnoDB: Cannot continue operation.
041115 20:43:42  mysqld ended"
