Whoa, I ran SHOW DATABASES and everything came up!

Now I just have to figure out how to do that with mysqladmin 
(c:/mysql/bin/mysqadmin - or that is how windows default goes anyway for MySQL 4)

Sorry, thanks for the tip. I'm new to mailing lists in general...
