I think this can be done, but tried a few times with no success. I want a column in a table that sets a timestamp. Instead of passing a value from the form though is there a way mySql would automagically stamp the records as they are inserted ? and as a side note - would table type make any difference. 4.0.20 - standard Thank you, Stuart
