Please...... that's an advantage? Do you base your company philosophy on this? Implementing the ol' income - software price - legal fees - downtime + legal earnings = net revenue formula, huh? The original poster running Linux-X11-Netscape uses MediaOne's RoadRunner and was _apparently_ able to setup/masq. his cable connection but struggles with MySQL? I assumed his complaint was installing MySQL, which has little to do with MySQL and more to do with the environment used to install. If he did install successfully then perhaps his deficiency is using standard SQL? Or perhaps coding around features MySQL lacks, hmm.. maybe a programming deficiency? More often than not, complaints on this list have absolutely nothing to do with MySQL specifically -- surprisingly most _still_ get answered, go figure. -Jay J
