| Subject: | MySQL Server - automatic shutdown | ||
| View as plain text | |||
Hello: We are using MySQL database on a FreeBSD server. The problem we are facing is sometimes the MySQL server is automatically shutting down. There is no error logged on the server. The entry in the log file "mysite.com.err" shows: 040525 21:52:37 /usr/local/mysql-3.23.49/libexec/mysqld: Normal shutdown This happened more than once in the last 2 months. Can anybody help me to fix this problem on the server. Sheni R Meledath sheni@stripped
