problem install

i m new to th list
i have trouble installing mysql i downloaded packags from the net : 
MsqlPerl-1_17-1_src.rpm
Mysql-modules-1_1814-1_src.rpm
dbf2mysql-1_10d-1_i386.rpm
libncourses.so.3.0
libncurses3
mSQL-2_0_1-1_src.rpm
msql-2_0b3-1_src.rpm
mysql-3_21_30-1_i386.rpm
mysql-DBI-perl-bin-1_825-1_i386.rpm
mysql-bench-3_21_30-1_i386.rpm
mysql-client-3_21_30-1_i386.rpm
mysql-devel-3_21_30-1_i386.rpm
mysql-perl-bin-3_21_23-1_i386.rpm   

here are listed what i installed

but when i start mysql, ehe is the messages i got : 
[root@localhost /root]# mysql
mysql: error in loading shared libraries
libc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory  


I REALLY NEED SOME HELP !! or do u know if it is easier to install
mysql under NT, and then expot the result to the linux server, . If I
m right, i think PHP an be used on Linux and NT, no??
How culd i do that transformation??
