Per Database Logging options?

Is there a way to turn on the General Query Log feature on a per database
level, or do I have to turn it on for every database?  If so, is there an
article available?  I've checked the MySQL documentation and it looks like
you just turn it on when the daemon starts - in that case, I'm assuming that
it's logging everything for every database.
