Subject:speed prob with solaris 2.5.1 and MySQL 3.22.19
View as plain text
Solaris 2.5.1 on Sparc with 512 Mo of ram
Apache 1.3.6 with mod_perl 1.18
DBI 1.06
MySQL 3.22.19

We have the following problem: MySQL execute SQL requests in 30 S for 10 000
records...
Knowing that we have 10 requests per Web page that gives us 1 display of
page in 3 min...
Currently we have 1 300 000 pages views per month.
Moreover, it consumes 30 % of the resources of the system and after a
certain time it stop.

How to accelerate the time of consultation of the base?

PS: the daemon is launched by safe_mysqld.

thank you in advance

Bien à vous
Philippe
