Hi, I'm running MySQL on a Linux server with 2 processors, 4 Gb memory and SCSI disks. I am using MySQL to manage a database with 3 million reports and various auxiliary tables which are also fairly large. My question is: How do I make the best use of the 4 Gb memory available? I've tried increasing the key_buffer to 512M because most queries are between 3-6 tables using indexed fields. What other tuning should I try? regards, Jonathan
