Is there a known issue (running on FreeBSD 4.8, > MySQL 3.23.55 MyISAM)? its been a known issue for quite a long time use linuxthreaded version and it should work fine. although much of work has been done on threads implementation, there are still such problems with mysql. it happens even on freebsd 5.0 regards, terry
