Hey Jeremy-
    I saw in your blog here (http://jeremy.zawodny.com/blog/archives/000697.html)
your mentioning that 4.x+FreeBSD+LinuxThreads doesn't suffer from the starved query
problem anymore. Do you think what I am seeing (the slow query log I posted) is
caused by something else perhaps? 
    On a possibly unrelated note, if I try running the same scenario (long query on
DB "A" + many short queries on DB "B" interleaved) with a 4.1.0-alpha build, I am
able to reliably wedge both query threads within 30 seconds, and have to kill -9
the mysql processes to shutdown. I know it's an alpha build and all, but that just
seems a bit fishy. I'm not sure if that is connected to my slow query problem, but
I thought I'd mention it in case it rang a bell with someone.
