I would argue for leaving it as it is. I check the list at work but post
with my home address, so as to not miss any replies to my questions
while at home. In addition, some people who ask questions are not
subscribed to the list and need to see a response.

I have to agree, it should just work that when I hit reply, it goes
straight
to the mail list. The poster is already on the list so it's just
redundant.
I find myself having to reply-all and deleting their name. *sigh* please
consider changing this annoying behaviour.
