JConnection production version?

What is the most recent production version of the jconnector?
Some pages state that 3.0.7 is the latest production version.
But page 
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-jdbc-stable.html
gives me the impression that it is not.
I.e. it is the latest 'stable' version.  
(Unless stable and production is the same thing).

Can someone clear this up for me.
