Reiteration:
What would be the procedure to remove all traces of any and all mysql
files to reinstall fresh?
This is what I am getting when trying to start
transcript follows:
# ./bin/safe_mysqld

seems another one keeps starting up despite removing it from the
hostconfig from apple.
# ps aux | grep mysql

sh ./bin/safe_mysqld
root 896 0.0 0.0 1116 4 std R+ 7:08PM 0:00.00
grep mysql
# kill -9 432
# ./bin/safe_mysqld

030424 19:12:08 mysqld ended
# ps aux | grep mysql
root 932 0.0 0.0 1116 4 std R+ 7:12PM 0:00.00
grep mysql
