What exactly is a "hit"? How busy your DB server is depends entirely
upon the types of questions you ask of it. If every "hit" is a
multi-table join, then perhaps it will not handle it, perhaps it
will. If a "hit" is a simple insert, then yes, this is no problem.
If it is a simple query on a indexed field, then yes, it will handle it.
