Hi!

Are you using the SUSE RPM or have you compiled MySQL yourself.  In
the later case, please repost with the mysqlbug script and include a
full 'cut and paste' that shows the error you get from SHOW COLUMNS
FROM 'table_name'.

It may be a problem that the MYSQL .frm file is destroyed.  In this
case you have to try to recreate the CREATE TABLE statement you issued 
in the first place and post it to us so that we can test this!  The
easiest way to do this is to start mysqld with --log and import your
table again!
