>can anyone point me to a reference regarding the Com_ status information What exaclty do you mean? http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/SHOW_STATUS.html states that the com_xxxx is just how many times the xxxx command has been issued. So if com_select = 34021 there have been 34021 selects issued to the server. Do you need something more in depth or are you just trying to figure out what they mean in general?
