No you may not ;-) *joke* It needs to be run automatically without user intervention [cronjob] so the PERL [not an option as I've never used it] or PHP would have to be of the CGI variety [if that's what you call the standalone version, not the API for the web server]. But it is an option and I'll consider. I'll probably try the suggestion by Ralf Narozny first. It seems to be exactly what I want, plus... It's relatively simple :-) I'll also have to read up on those UDF's. Sounds interesting. Cheers everyone.
