Subject:Unable to start the binary build version of mysqld.

When I ran "configure" the "mysqld" exited on startup. I also tried the
safe_mysqld with the same results.
The following is what was contained in the error file "corp1.err", corp1
is the correct machine name of this server (corp1.indyweb.net):

mysqld started on  Sun Mar 28 09:04:09 EST 1999
990328  9:04:09  /usr/local/mysql-3.22.20a-pc-linux-gnu-i686/bin/mysqld:
Table 'mysql.host' doesn't exist
mysqld ended on  Sun Mar 28 09:04:09 EST 1999
