Not clear what you really want to do? If your hosting blocks remote sql
queries, not sure you can do much, unless you find out what the firewall
rules are and then come up with a way to bypass the (like changing the port
or something).
Otherwise, you will need to run your application and the database on the
same server and then you can execute the needed queries.
