I am not having any troubles on 4.5 using plain mysql. Our transaction
is lower than some (but certainly higher than others) at 4 queries/sec
avg.
However - we only use one processor. Perhaps that is a problem.

They key is being able to reliably reproduce the problem. Once that
happens, fixing it should be eaiser. So far, though, nobody seems to
have been able to do that. :-(
