Do you have update logging on? This would be true if you started up mysql with
--log-update in the command line. You can check the "log_update" variable to see if it is
on.
If you do have update logging on, then you'll have all the DML stuff (insert, update,
delete) in your datadirectory (or wherever you specified the logs will be) and you might
be able to re-create some data from there.
the default filename for the update logs is $HOSTNAME.XXX, i.e. myhost.001, myhost.002,
etc.
