Try BLOB or TEXT types.  Up to 2**32-1 bytes can be stored in LONGBLOB and
LONGTEXT.

My problem is finding an equivalent field for the "TEXT" data type in
SQLServer...

non of the datatypes I tried would hold the amount of characters I need...

Help!
