Subject:ADMIN: Why do posters get bounces?
View as plain text
Occasionally, mail transfer agents on the net are screwed up and feed
messages back to the From: address, in stead of to the envelope sender
as 99.9% of hosts correctly do. When that happens, the poster of the
message gets the bounce. There have been a few such subscriber
addresses are we are removing them. Specifically, there is one address
removed yesterday, which seems to send bounces with a delay of several
days.

If you posted and got these, please just delete them. If in the future
you get a lot of them, please just forward one of them to
postmaster@stripped and the offending subscriber address will be
removed.

-Sincerely, Fred
