Yes, according to <URL: http://www.mysql.com/crash-me-get.htmy >
MySQL only can handle up to 2364 columns per table, and all field
contents of a row together (without blobs) may not exceed 65501 byte.
And according to chapter 'E Known errors and design deficiencies in
MySQL" of the MySQL manual, you can only have up to 255 ENUM and SET
columns in one table.
