Hi List,
We tried the patch2 this morning and it did not give better result.
Here is how we are working.
I have a mySQL 4.1.8 server on my computer (windows 2K), and I manage
to connect to it with a myodbc3.dll dated 2004-10-25. It is version
3.51.10.0.
My collegue installed the last version with patch 2, and cannot
connect neither to my server, neither to its own. On mine it says the
database `dbname` does not exist, and on his, he cannot even connect
to localhost. The server have the exact same configuration, port, and
users. I can connect to his with no problem.
It therefore seems that version 3.51.10 from october was working... I
don't know if it is the one available on the official mySQL AB site
tho...
Cheers,
