Subject:Building MyODBC 3.51 for MySQL 4.1

Is it going to be possible to build MyODBC 3.51 for use with MySQL 4.1?  On
Windows, the binary download of MyODBC 3.51 seems to work OK with MySQL 4.1
(after configuring the password encryption to be the old style).  For
Solaris, this doesn't seem to be the case.  And my initial attempt to build
failed with compilation errors.  Is there going to be a 4.1 compatible
version of MyODBC anytime soon?
