whfc hylafax client

I'm trying to use whfc, a fax client of hylafax.
(If you don't know it look http://www.hylafax.org)

The whfc client can use a phone book from a odbc database.
So I tried to use the mysql database and odbc.

I can add and remove entries but I cannot modify it.

I get an error that tells me "Cursor Name is Wrong".
I've been told it's got to do with the way MSFC uses
ODBC. Do you know if it's possible to configure odbc
so mysql can be used for whfc ? I tried to check
some options unsuccessfully.
