RE: rs.delete won't fly

this may be interesting.  I had tried 

      rst.Open strSelect, conn, adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic, adCmdTable

but myODBC said that wasn't supported.

with the 

        rst.Open strSelect, conn, adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic,
adCmdTable

well, that's what I tried and doing it again I get again the same thing I
had before, namely:

ODBC driver does not support the requested properties.  I think you'll
tell me to install the most recent MDAC (correct acronym?), I don't know
what version of that I'm working with here.
