I'm working all the time as "administrator".
I reinstall myodbc many times, even booting in "safe mode".
I install many days ago the MAC 2.7 (from Microsoft site where they says is
the last release for XP).
The results not vary.
I don´t know the complete syntax to connect from VBscript and the used in
the programas that can connect successfully, there my be the difference.

The only other thing would be READ/EXECUTE access to the actual driver dll.
you install it as administrator or your own account?
The only other thing to try is to re-install mdac / myodbc to fix things.
You've got a good one.
