MySQL Lists: myodbc: MyODBC and file dsn?

I have created a file DSN manually and what ever I put for the DSN=
entry when you try to connect with the .dsn it pops up the MyODBC window
with a blank DSN name!!

BTW I installed MyODBC 2.50.24 but in the driver tab of ODBC it still
states 2.50.21.00, is this a bug or has it not installed correctly!

Any help would be appreciated!
