Thank you for your continued assistance. :-)
It appears there are a few issues with this connector when used with
Windows-7 (64-bit).  We have created a pictorial walk-through of us using
the ODBC Administrator and the errors generated.  If you are interested,
watch for the up coming 'Bug Report' on this version.  --We would rather
spend our time doing something else. :-)

The above having been said, what version connector actually works within
Windows-7 (64-bit) when used with Access-2007 and mysql-server-5.1.58?

Since in our tests we could load list of tables in access 2007, i  think
you need to continue in format of bug report. and first thing that you
need to do is to supply odbc trace of your attempt to load the list of
tables.

Both versions are fine for what you are doing. 5.1 in unicode driver,
3.51 is ansi driver. that is their main difference.
Also 5.1 supports some more features  than 3.51.
