OUR NOTES:
The following is true on an windows-7 (64-bit) install:

listed in the "Create New Data Source" dialog window. The resulting file
size reported by Win 7's add/remove programs= 21.2MB

mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-win32: Currently, will get listed within the
"Create New Data Source" dialog window; but of course nothing beyond that
will function. resulting file size reported by Win 7 add/remove programs=

Installing and using "mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-win32" on a 32-bit
install of windows-7 appears to work fine. What are we missing that is
causing us to have issues with the 64-bit ODBC connector on a 64-bit
install of windows-7? There continue to be 'no errors' during the 64-bit
ODBC connector installation.

We are able to repeat the above all day/night long.
