Hi,

I have a problem when updating a recordset I got a message that says “The
row for update can´t be found: Some of the values may changed since last
read”, or something like that because the original message is in Spanish,
this happens only when updating rows when updating tables with datetime type
columns. I´m using MySQL-4.1.13a-win32 and MyODBC-3.52.06, here is a sample
of the code in vb:

rs.Open "select * from traspasos where folio_traspaso='" & folio & "' and
origen='" & s & "'", conexion, adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic

If rs.RecordCount = 0 Then

        rs.AddNew

Else

        consec = rs!consecutivo

End If

rs!folio_traspaso = folio

rs!ORIGEN = s

rs!DESTINO = cmbDestino

rs!fecha = format(date, “YYYY-MM-DD”)

rs!hora = Time

rs!CODRESPON = “carlos”

rs!TERM = “my-pc”

rs!status = 2

rs!observaciones = txtObs.text

rs.Update

rs.Close

Hope you can help me!!

Carlos Olivas.
