As for you version of pthread I cannot say anything, but with the glibc Version
from 8.0 and the libpthread from that package sapdb is running at least as
well as on 7.2 for me (I'm not an SAP employee, so this is just my personal
experiance). I have

	glibc-2.2.5-123

which is the version you'll have after an online-update. I'm running
sapdb 7.3.0.25.
