As traffic continues to pick up on this list we are seeing more questions
about the management tools and about interfaces (like PHP). Perhaps it
might be time for a list split? Normally I am against list splits, but on
higher trafficked lists with distinct boundary lines its nice as it helps
sort incoming mail. Just a thought question. Any opinions?
Currently there are sap-general and sap-announce... Maybe a logical break
is...
sap-announce : read only for sap to announce things about sap-db
sap-general : general questions about sap-db, queries, error codes,
install and the like
sap-tools : questions about the management tools of sap-db
sap-interfaces : questions about python, perl, php, etc interfaces to sap-db
sap-devel : questions about compiling, making, extending sap-db
Just a thought (btw: the proposed list is alignment w/ how web page is
segmented)
