Subject:-706 SQL statement too long
View as plain text
Hi,

I got an error -706 (Syntax error or access violation;-706 SQL statement too long) when I
tried to create a dbproc. I avoided this error by reducing the comments in the procedure.
But I think this should not be the final solution.

Is there any possibility (f.e. configuration parameter...) to increase the overflowing
communication buffer of the database instance to avoid the -706 error?

Thanks in advance.
